Usually, when titles have little to no marketing - and in this case, review copies weren't even sent out until a day before release, confidence immediately dies down, but from what we've seen so far, Transformers: Devastation is a childhood dream finally realized.As an high paced action game similar to the PlatinumGames style (Bayonetta, Vanquish, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance), players will get to choose from five classic Autobots: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sidewipe, Wheeljack, and Grimlock, each with their character specific traits and transformations.In massive 3D environments, gameplay is extremely focused on bringing the unique transformation aspect to life as the ability to switch between vehicle and robot mode is essential - players can chain together melee attacks, ram nearby enemies as a car, and finish with a barrage of bullets, all in an amazing PlatinumGames flourish.
